I was taught to “pay yourself first”. Work hard and “save for a rainy day”. This seems very straight forward and easy to do, right? How do you know that you are saving enough? How do you know that you are not taking on more risk then you need to? Are your returns in line with your goals? What goals?
Life moves quickly and there are many things to consider. I want to help you determine your options. When should I take government pension plans, what about my company pension plan? Should I commute it, take it or sheltered it from future concerns? What type of account is best when taking money out of my portfolio? What is a reasonable reliance rate based on how active I am in retirement? These questions and many more are important.
I partner with my clients every day to understand what is important to them and make sure they stay on track to meet their goals. My office takes a proactive approach to deliver excellent service to meet the needs of our growing community. The cost you pay is clear, transparent and part of every discussion I have.
When I am not helping my clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes our two dogs Rocky and Finnegan and our cat Lola. I try to become a better golfer every year and a good book is always in season.
My branch partners Sue and Donna are here to welcome you and answer your call. We hope to see you soon.
